About the New Hampshire Immigrant Integration Working Group
The NH Immigrant Integration Working Group, formed in 2010, is comprised of dedicated individuals and organizations working to advance immigrant integration across regions and statewide. The Working Group aims to promote secure, vibrant and cohesive communities through intentional efforts to weave newcomers into the fabric of our communities. The goals of the working group are to be a resource on immigrant integration, to create opportunities for learning and exchanging ideas and successful practices in integration, to attend to the needs for training and infrastructure development, and to focus on cross cutting issues through system change efforts.
About the Conference
The Working Group is convening New Hampshire’s first ever Immigrant Integration Conference in April 2012 to provide opportunities for learning and the exchange of ideas among those who work to advance immigrant integration in the state. The conference will highlight local successes and introduce national best practices. Through the conference, the Working Group hopes to increase mutual responsibility, multi-sector involvement and multi-strategy approaches to enhance the dynamic, two-way process of immigrant integration.
